Having been an admirer of these
unique Australian Pythons for as long as I
can remember, I am very excited to finally
have the opportunity to work with them first
hand (2006). We have a growing and diverse
collection that will hopefully yield some
breeding results in the next couple of
years. |

Every reptile enthusiast should have at least
one Green Tree Python in their collection.
We've worked with many Chondro's over the years,
of varying age and origin, and have learned
many valuable lessons as to their actual
needs and husbandry.
Currently our collection consists of several select animals of mainland
and highland
localities (Jayapura, Wemena, Lereh).

Albino Ball Pythons were one of the
first colour mutations to be discovered
dating back to 1989. It's been a long
time since then and I don't think anyone
gets tired of seeing such a spectacular
snake.
We are working with a
diverse, unrelated group of high contrast
Albinos and Heterozygous animals and expect
several opportunities to produce both
Albinos and hets in the years to come.

Pastels are one of the most popular variety
of Ball Python morphs and I would say are
also responsible for most of the Ball Python
craze we see now. They exhibit
a much more vibrant orange and yellow colouration
than ordinary Ball Pythons and are definitely
a key ingredient to making the genetic combos
of the future.
Most of our founding
pastel stock was involved in our Pastel
Orange Ghost/Super Pastel Orange Ghost
projects, though we now have several
projects involving Pastel crosses.
We are working exclusively with the Graziani
line of Pastels, though we have several
animals of unrelated parentage.

I think almost everyone that knows what a
Ball Python is, knows what a Pied Ball Python
looks like. They appear as though the snakes
pattern has been randomly erased leaving behind
a snow white background colour. In addition
to the loss of pattern, what pattern is left
is very vibrant orange as babies, and
usually very aberrant. Surely, Piebald's
are one of the most sought after Ball Python
mutations, and will remain so for years to
come.
Since we hatched out first Pied in 2006, we
have attempted to repeat it every breeding
season since, often with the last clutch of
the season being our Pied clutch. We
have also focused on continued out breeding
to further strengthen our lineages.
This is extremely important for them to be
good feeders and strong breeders, in our
opinion.

Pinstripe Ball Pythons are another
pattern and colour mutation. The dark
markings are very reduced in size, as the
name suggests, and the background colour is
often quite vibrant as well. Crosses
seen thus far with Pins have proven to be
very dramatic. The future looks very
exciting! We have a few crosses in
mind for our Pinstripe
projects, as well as selective breeding
efforts, and are looking forward to seeing
some results in the near future. GENETICS -

The Red Axanthics are one of the most
interesting Ball Python morphs to work with.
This mutation was proven genetic by Corey
Woods, and they aren't in any way like any
other Axanthic lineage available. Not only
do they retain unique pattern and burgundy
colouration into adulthood, but the Heterozygous
form is distinguishable from an ordinary Ball
Python (aka - visual het.) making them
actually two morphs in one!.
Het Red Axanthics have almost a hypo
axanthic appearance and represent some of
the nicest Black Backs available on the market
today. The future of this morph is very promising
and exciting!

Another one of the very popular
colour/pattern mutations is the Spider Ball.
Crosses involving other genes such as Pastel
have yielded surprisingly drastic results
combined with the Spider. Spiders are
extremely variable in appearance and colour
tones, though they are all very easily
distinguished from a wild type. We
have a few crosses in mind for our Spider
projects and are looking forward to seeing
some results of these projects in the next
couple of years. GENETICS -
